Welcome Party &amp; SangeetWelcome to the wedding weekend! Family &amp; friends from both sides have travelled from all over come together, right in the bride’s hometown. Featuring choreographed dances, mehendi application, and a delicious buffet with an open bar.Dress code: Indian party wear or cocktail attire. Hindu Wedding CeremonyIn a moment decided by the stars, Pooja &amp; Chris complete a series of centuries-old rituals, to be blessed in marriage by family, friends, &amp; the universe. Breakfast will be provided, with a sit-down buffet lunch to follow the ceremony’s completion.Dress code: Formal, Indian &amp; Western. ReceptionIt's time to party, right the groom’s native land of New York City, less than a mile from where his family has lived for nearly a century. Cocktail hour, plated dinner—and a small rave, of course.Dress code: black-tie optional, fashion-forward formal; think glamorous, Met Gala 2018, medieval modern chic. Whatever makes you feel like a million bucks.

First, we're dragging you to Central Jersey...

...if only to prove it's a real place. We're so excited to welcome you to the bride's hometown for our wedding ceremony, just 5 minutes away from her family home for the last two decades. The below hotel is also the venue for our Friday morning Hindu Wedding Ceremony. For ease and convenience, we recommend checking in on Thursday evening, with the option to stay through the weekend. If desired, there are several other hotel options in the area.

Then, we're treating you to a night in New York City

...because you all deserve a glamorous night in the best city ever. Since many of our guests either live in or near New York, or have plans for accommodation with friends &amp; family, we have not reserved a hotel block for the evening of our reception. However, should you need a place to stay (or wish to treat yourself), there are plenty of hotels in the area; don't forget to browse options in Lower Manhattan, Long Island City, and Brooklyn. Take the NJ Transit: The North East Corridor line runs from Penn Station to Princeton Junction every day, with a variety of express options throughout the day. You will need to take an Uber or Lyft to the hotel. Drive: The Princeton area is easily accessible via Exit 8A off I-95, as well as Exit 68A off I-295. The venue is

Getting to New York

If you can make it there, you'll make it anywhere

For those staying at the wedding venue or elsewhere in Princeton the whole weekend, we will be providing transportation to and from New York City for the Reception. Please let us know ahead of time so we can get proper headcount. Other options include: Take the NJ Transit: Princeton Junction Station is located approximately 10 minutes away from the Wedding hotel. On weekends, trains to New York leave hourly. Drive: The Reception venue has a parking lot just across the street.
